Early Years
Got hooked on dance music thanks to my cousin playing 'faces' from '2 Unlimited' LOUD, in his car
Sony Walkman was bought and an endless supply of batteries
All 'Dance Zone' albums were bought, as well as Helter Skelter and Dream Scape
Music Was My Happy Place
Teen Years
Learnt the art of DJing in pubs and social clubs, reading the crown, knowing my music
Got some vinyl decks 'TT1650s' and played the same 4 songs on repeat for months learning to beat match
Played a few instruments and just loved everything music (music on, world off)
Bought some CDJ 800's and setup as a mobile DJ
Changed to a software DJ and I hit them all - no more lugging boxes of CD's around
All the speakers and lights, a car and a computer full of tunes
The 20's
Started remixing tracks with Traktor and F1 controllers until I was playing full 4 hours sets from samples
DJing in Bars, Pubs, Clubs, Social Clubs and Private events for years
The 30's
Took a break from DJing
Made myself homeless by starting my own business, and failed
Worked in crappy jobs that I just hated
Hit rock bottom; drink and drugs
On a whim, applied for uni and got accepted
Started making terrible music with FL Studio and eventually Logic Pro X
Graduated a music degree (somehow) and also moved to Ableton
Now
Moved to Liverpool
Part time job and a bit of DJing with more time to work on music
Started another company, mixing and mastering, production and equipment hire
Finally finished a track that I could be proud of
